Wisconsin DIP offers two types of substitute teaching licenses:

Hold a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited institution and submit all original transcripts | Three-Year Substitute License (Application) |
Complete a state-approved educator preparation program and have previously held a WI educator license -OR- Complete a state-approved educator preparation program and are eligible to hold a WI educator license -OR- Complete a state-approved educator preparation program outside of WI and hold equivalent license from that state | Five-Year Substitute License (Application) |
