December is National Drunk and Drugged Driving Prevention Month. In 1982, in an effort to increase community awareness, President Ronald Reagan proclaimed this month a holiday. During December we recommit to practicing safe driving and preventing loss that occurs from reckless driving by reminding the nation to be sober, drug free and safe on the road.
To help support the prevention of drunk and drugged driving we have created an infographic, “Sobering Facts” with statistics sharing shocking, informative and preventative facts relating to drunk and drugged driving. We hope this infographic along with the Presidential Proclamation made on November 30 will help raise awareness of the month of drunk and drugged driving prevention as well as motivate citizens across the nation to act in a way that promotes safe driving. Please share this infographic as part of our educational outreach and campaigns focused on preventing impaired driving as well as educating our youth. We encourage you to help us spread this important message!
